I did this and I ended up cutting my finger and the palm of my hand so I decided to design this safety holder. This holder gives you protection and also provides rigidity for the tool so it doesn't bend while you're pushing it in.
Once you have pushed in the tool and released the spring you can easily slide the handle off and insert the next tool to work on the next spring lock.
